Zen mode is the ultimate zero stress match 3 and chill. The game sells you boosts, and lets you watch ads to get free boosts (even after you pay to remove the ads), but they are 100% not required, as the original bejeweled 3 on PC didn't have them, and was designed around them not existing. many of the other modes require one time IAPs to remove the daily limit on them. If you pay to remove the adds, you can play classic and zen as much as you want without interruption, and on iOS, i think you get butterflies for free as well.
While some modes are timed and stressful (ice storm, diamond mine, lightning), many are not (classic, zen, butterflies, poker). Bejeweled Classic would be perfect for you, if it didn't shove ads down your throat constantly.
